[email protected]
Mrs. Bush graduated from Loyola Marymount University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. From there, she went on to do graduate work in Tropical Marine Biology in St. Croix on the US Virgin Islands and at Loyola Marymount University in Environmental Engineering. Prior to working at Visitation, Mrs. Bush taught at Paul Revere Junior High School and Monroe High School. Mrs. Bush joined the Visitation faculty in 2003 teaching Junior High science and math and serving as the school's volleyball coach.
Mrs. Bush has an extreme passion for science; she enjoys the order of science and that everything is objective. She also loves that science can be found anywhere! One of her favorite aspects about teaching science here is the EcoSchool Program that she runs through the National Wildlife Federation. EcoSchool is focused on getting schools to be more environmentally aware because schools tend to waste about 30% more than they really need to. Mrs. Bush also enjoys teaching pre-algebra because she truly knows how necessary a strong foundation in the subject is in order to be successful in any math-based subject.
