[email protected]
Working with children and teaching has been Mrs. O’Connor’s passion since she can remember. Mrs. O'Connor earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology (El Salvador, 1998), with the intention of becoming a school counselor or a teacher. During her employment as a teacher’s aide, and graduating from Chapman University with a multiple subject teaching credential, her interest in the field expanded. Since beginning work as a teacher, she has worked with children of different age groups and varied academic levels. She has thoroughly enjoyed being a part of these educational programs, and as a result, has learned valuable teaching techniques and relationship skills with parents and students.
Mrs. O’Connor believes in inspiring her students and motivating them to learn by creating a safe and prepared environment for her classes. Her goal is to teach her students using different tools to engage them in learning. Her classes are fun, and she lets the students involve themselves in the lessons with hands-on-activities that allow them to learn.
It is Mrs. O’Connor’s ambition to create a positive and nurturing environment for young children. She has helped children succeed and has been a positive influence on them, inspiring them to discover their talents and excel in what they do best.
