Holly Stanford brings passion, relentless positivity, and a creative spirit to her role as a Visitation School teacher. Having earned her Master of Arts degree in Educational Theatre (all grades) and English Education (5-12) from New York University and her undergraduate degree in theatre with emphasis in performance and theatre history from SUNY College at Oneonta in New York, there is never a dull moment in Ms. Stanford's classroom. Holly embraces an arts-integrated approach to learning that takes great consideration for Howard Gardner's multiple intelligence theory as well as a constructivist approach that involves the student in the learning process. Holly truly loves working with children and fostering a love of learning that is steeped in authenticity and personal accountability. She has previous experience as an English teacher and school librarian.
Outside of the classroom, Holly enjoys various artistic pursuits as a filmmaker and visual artist. She also can be spotted rollerblading along the beach on weekends. Catch her if you can!
