Meet Principal Reyes

Mona Reyes has been appointed Principal of Visitation School, bringing a strong record of service in Catholic education, instructional leadership, and community partnership. A graduate of Bishop Montgomery High School and the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), Mrs. Reyes combines academic preparation with years of hands‐on experience in Catholic schools across Los Angeles. She holds a California Single Subject Teaching Credential and has served as a Catholic school teacher, nonprofit leader, and principal. Most recently, Mrs. Reyes completed a full‐year Principal Residency at San Miguel Catholic School, where she supported schoolwide operations, strengthened communication systems, partnered closely with teachers to elevate instructional practice, and led initiatives in enrollment, development, and family engagement.

Throughout her leadership roles, she has been recognized for her calm, steady presence and her ability to guide school communities through moments of transition with clarity, collaboration, and a mission‐centered focus. Her work reflects a deep commitment to forming students in faith, academics, and character, and to ensuring that every family feels welcomed, known, and supported. A lifelong Southern California resident and practicing Catholic, Mrs. Reyes is honored to join the Visitation community. She looks forward to working with students, families, faculty, and parish leadership to continue the school’s tradition of faith‐filled excellence while thoughtfully leading the community into its next chapter.
