Athletics - Go Bulldogs!
Visitation Athletics
Visitation athletics strive to be a strong example of the Visitation community. While being Christ based, Visitation athletics prides itself in developing student-athletes body, mind and character. Fundamentals are stressed and competing to the best of one's athletic ability is always emphasized. Good sportsmanship through wins and losses is a top priority. Visitation athletics seek to provide a positive experience while teaching the value of teamwork to all who participate. We start our sports program as early as the 3rd grade. In an attempt to maximize playing opportunities for our student-athletes, Visitation athletics participate in multiple leagues in many of our sports. We participate in the Foundation for Interscholastic Athletics (FIYA) and the Catholic Youth Organization (CYO). We compete in four different levels of competition. We want each child to have the opportunity to play a sport and be part of a team. We believe that building strong minds and bodies help make our students grow into well-rounded young adults with confidence. The seasons are as follows: Fall: Girls Volleyball, Co-ed Flag Football, Co-ed Cross Country, Co-ed Golf Winter: Girls Basketball, Boys Basketball Spring: Girls Soccer, Boys Soccer, Girls Softball, Boys Volleyball, Co-ed Track and Field, Co-ed Archery, Co-ed Golf, Co-ed Futsal We encourage you to look further into our athletic department to see all that we have to offer. Go Viz! “I can’t believe that God put us on this earth to be ordinary.” –Lou Holtz Athletic Director Nick Galvan [email protected] |
